How we get the personal information and why we have it

 

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:

To register an interest in the Fishers Arms Horncliffe Community Pub Buyout

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • Record your interest in the pub buyout

  • Record the amount you have invested or donated

  • Provide more information about the Community share offer

  • Record the formal share offer

  • Record your interest in volunteering for the pub buyout

  • Record the skills/services you are able to offer the pub buyout

  • Record the amount of time you can provide to the pub buyout

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 the lawful base we rely on for processing this information is set out in Article 6 of the UK GDPR:

How we store your personal information

 

Your information is securely stored on a password protected spreadsheet on a password protected laptop. Access to your information will be limited and digital devices will be stored securely. All data will be subject to encryption utilising recognised encryption software and algorithms to secure data making it safe from unauthorised access. Strong passwords will be used and no physical copies will be made.

We keep personal information for 24 months. We will then dispose of your information by secure deletion.

Your data protection rights

 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
